Cooperation turns into innovation – What start-ups and SMEs can learn from each other
The growth in SMEs attracts, sales and employment figures increase. But studies such as the KfW Innovation Report show: The investments of SMEs – in innovations and digital business models – are still far below those of large companies. This could endanger future growth. The path of SMEs to more innovations, forward-looking products, new distribution channels or digital technologies: cooperation with start-ups can pave the way. And start-ups can also benefit – from the reputation and market access of established SMEs, for example.
Experience an exciting mix of lectures, discussions and conversations with well-known experts from politics, business and science. NRW Economics Minister Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart is the patron of the event and will open it together with NRW.BANK Board Member Michael Stölting.
In addition, young and innovative companies will once again present their business projects at the Marketplace for Equity Capital. The conference will once again feature a start-up pitch, this time hosted and sponsored by the Private Equity Forum NRW e. V: Five start-ups will present their business ideas to the audience. The winner will receive prize money of 3,000 euros.
