Nordantech receives financing from High-Tech Gründerfonds

November 6, 2018

High-Tech Gründerfonds III GmbH & Co. KG and other investors invest in Nordantech Solutions GmbH. The young company based in Hamburg develops and distributes Falcon – an intelligent project management tool for business transformations.

Whether it is company acquisition, expansion, turnaround or digitization – the associated transformation projects determine the further development of every company. The financial implications are significant and the project risks high. More than two-thirds of these projects fall far short of expectations.

Nordantech strives to solve this problem. With its web-based software Falcon, Nordantech sells an intelligent project management software for enterprise transformations. Falcon brings both finances and milestones to one place! The tool makes it possible to manage, plan and report complex projects simultaneously for several companies. In first research projects Falcon learns to recognize delays in advance and to predict budget overruns.

The founders of Falcon are Arne Brenneisen, Christian Kuhs and Dr. Jonas Steeger. The team combines experience in software development, transformation projects and machine learning.

Among the customers of the multi-award-winning company are various medium-sized companies from various industries, as well as investment companies and consulting firms. Since Falcon’s first live test at the end of 2016, Nordantech has already generated six-figure revenues and entered into partnerships with various international companies.

The founding team agrees: “Falcon enables companies to centrally manage and advance their strategic projects – no matter from where and in real-time across all locations, companies and divisions. With its large network of cooperation partners, potential customers and investors, the HTGF is the perfect match for us”.

Investor HTGF has a similar view: “From my own professional experience, but also from conversations with industrial companies, it becomes clear that transformation projects take place continuously. Solutions that are easy to implement and allow central project management including forecast and reporting – even across several projects – are sought and needed. The Falcon solution already used by customers today and the strong team convinced us. We are looking forward to working together”, says Louis Heinz, Investment Manager of High-Tech Gründerfonds.
