bookingkit offers a SaaS-solution tailored specifically to the activity industry. Due to an automatic booking process and a simple administration the workload of the vendor is reduced to a minimum. At the same time their sales are rising – due to higher booking numbers on the company’s own website and the promotion of their experiences via our connected marketing- and sales channels. The intelligent software of bookingkit manages the entire inventory of an activity provider, all incoming bookings, the complete payment process, all customers and all activated sales platforms in one user-friendly interface.
Efficient after-sales marketing, individual cross-selling and holistic yield management can also be easily implemented with bookingkit’s booking solution.
The startup was founded in early 2014 by Christoph Kruse and Lukas C. C. Hempel. Since then bookingkit has been growing rapidly. In the middle of 2016, the company was able to raise a medium seven-digit amount in a Series-A funding. This infusion of capital will speed up the expansion of the SaaS-solution throughout Europe. In the medium term, bookingkit is building a Global Distribution System (GDS) for leisure activities. Equivalent systems have already become a standard in other sectors such as the hospitality industry.
