Dr. Jörn W. Röper

Dr. Jörn W. Röper was born in Hamburg in 1956. He is Commercial Managing Director of VRM Holding GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Mainz.
Prior to that, he worked as Chairman of the Board of PNS a.s. (leading Czech press wholesaler), as a member of the Board of Mafra a.s. (leading Czech newspaper publisher), in organizational and strategic consulting (Mummert+Partner, Roland Berger & Partner, SCS Management Consultants) with a focus on the publishing & insurance industry and as a research assistant at the Seminar for Industrial Management & Organization at the University of Hamburg.
He is Chairman of the Publishers’ Interest Group, the Radio Rockland Society, the Radio RPR1 Advisory Board and the Press Pension Fund.
He is also a member of the board of the Gutenberg Digital Hub and sits on the HTGF Investment Committee.
